Candidates Face Off, Drug Takeback and More This Week

Here are a few things we’re working this week for Wayne Patch and a few things going on in town.

• The mayoral and municipal council candidates will face off at a candidates forum’ this week. Members of the League of Women Voters will ask them questions about important topics related to Wayne. We’ll attend the forum and let you know what topics they discuss.

• There are several Halloween-themed events going on in and around Wayne this week, including a truck or treat.

• The police department wants residents to drop off their unused or expired medications on Saturday. Authorities want to ensure Wayne children don’t take the medications.
