Read Across America: Assemblyman, Mayor Read to Wayne Students

School officials also joined the celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday.

The A.P. Terhune School in Wayne recently hosted several special guest readers in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday and Read Across America week.

According to the APT PTO, Assemblyman Scott Rumana, Wayne Mayor Christopher Vergano, District Superintendent Dr. Raymond Gonzalez, and Board of Education President Laura Stinziano all read aloud to township students in honor of the pro-reading event.
