On the article New Pines Lake Elementary Principal Appointed

Don't know why my previous comment was rejected but here goes again.
Someone explain the logic of only hiring Wayne residents for Wayne jobs. In all my years in school way back when teachers were from various states, towns, etc. I work outside of Wayne so why shouldn't teachers or administrators do the same? -

Wow...can you say racsist? You are what is wrong with Wayne. What does a Spanish name (and the ethnicity is probably not even Spanish) have to do with if someone is qualified or not for a position. His education and background determine that. You should be ashamed!

WR I NEVER said ALL mistakes are made at 3am....and I have no problem with constructive criticism. If you want to point something like that out, Daniel's email address is above. You don't have to call him out here. That's just so petty.

You know it looks like the article was written at 3am. He tries to get the information out timely and sometimes words get misspelled. So what! Is that all you people want to do is criticize? I always see people who do absolutely NOTHING doing all the criticism....get out there and YOU write the article at 3am...no??? You were probably sound asleep....Be kind...it goes a long way...Jesh!

ReplyI have a neighbors dog that barks constantly for 1/2 hour or more at a time and I believe that something should be done with something like this, but to tell landscapers that they have to be off my lawn (or anyone's lawn) by 6pm is ridiculous. I understand the "quality of life" argument but sometimes things get pushed a little too far. As far as how they will be informed....does a noise complaint need to be filed or can the "enforcer" just come up to my door and fine me for a violation. I would love to know that....

Also they way traditional laptops require "programs" to be installed are much more cumbersome than how "apps" are installed on IPads...Much easier, much less involved.....

ReplyJoe, I think that the IPads are part of specific curriculum. Say, if a teacher wants to teach something that requires an IPad they log them out for that period. It's not the child's IPad to take home. Also, as I see it they would be used for a specific purpose and internet capability can be turned off using a master password so not too much can go wrong. The IPad is very much like a traditional laptop but they are more convenient to get from class to class without the bulk. Just some food for thought and to answer some of your questions with my opinion....

Drew you wont find Stew on a Wayne NJ tax record because he is a resident of California living with his girlfriend in Wayne. Try a broader search. He can be found and is very vocal. Whether or not you like his opinion he does use he "real" name.
