If he wasn't there- who cares where he was ?
The real story is: Public school administrations cannot intervene or use "school extra curricular activities " i.e. athletics, clubs etc. - as a weapon against students when they are off campus unless they violate the schools Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights.
Wayne Schools and Wayne Police must prove Zaffino violated those rights and caused his own suspension from participation in the football finals.

Currently, there is a Wayne Hills student that has recently dropped out of school in his senior year ( and had enough credits to graduate ) because he was being bullied -in-school... so nothing has changed.
Administrators have taken the position that the reason he cannot graduate with the class is because of his absentee's, and the student refuses to attend because he gets beat up when he goes.
The police tell the parents it's a school problem, the school tells the parents to go to the police. Either way- the child fails and the pathetic cycle continues.

All parents are Procurement Officers - in addition to what they are at their day jobs.
Being single and w/o children at 50 and chances are you'll find places like Slovakia exciting, but nothing comes close to having children, raising children, and living long enough to enjoy they're successes.

Most companies have a work policy- Drinking on the job and your fired. At mine- drinking, drugs and smoking is prohibited and grounds for immediate dismissal.
Why should operating a vehicle be any different ? People are using these roads while they are working, or transporting other people - not only goods and services.
I fuel jets, if you were a passenger boarding one, and happened to see the fueling crew smoking- what would your reaction be ? The laws are in place for a reason, and operating a vehicle on a local, county or state bi-way also has to have enforceable rules. Anything that impairs the driver should be illegal and mandatory revocation w/o prejudice. There-for no levels of drugs or alcohol makes "good" sense.

The only way to know if the B.A.C. is at the right settings is to have all of the "facts" about every accident involving a drunk/ or impaired driver. Law makers have turned the tables making everyone believe the roads are safer when alcohol is eliminated from being a factor, but if that were the case there wouldn't be any accidents. This excludes all other possibilities such as the road conditions, the demographics of accident prone areas, unsafe vehicles, or the fact that the accident would have happened anyway because it was the other persons fault.
I say let's demand 0.0 percent right now and stop the nonsense. Two drinks or three, if you're in an accident that causes injury or death, your going to held accountable. If your impaired or drunk- it's still your fault in the eyes of the law.

The sad story to all of this is the steel and the wood stocks. Both were made when materials were "top quality", the wood stocks came from mature trees- not composites. The older barrels were made of a very high quality Carbon/Stainless Steel and Chrome Molybdenum steel unlike the alloys on the market today.
Oddly enough is the number of "barrel shops" that dot the landscape through-out the U.S.
Did the buy-back program make it a point to recycle the materials only to be resold and eventually wind up back in the barrel shops, and if not, what is the recycled material being used for ?
What was the recycled return dollar amount of a few tons of quality ASA 4140, 4150, and 4340 steel?

I built my entire addition "after work" and on week-ends. I have neighbors that did the same thing, so I'm not one who can or will say anything about what a person does on they're own property or in they're own home. I have no problems with neighbors if they want to stay up all night drinking moonshine or reading the bible, as long as nothing hits my house or lands in my yard- knock your-selves out.
I also encourage kids to get out there and do stuff. Build a monster truck, raise chickens or install a batting cage. Just keep it in your own yard. Stay out of my tool shed, don't drink my beer ( B.Y.O.B.) and we'll get along fine.

That means Wayne Parks and Recreation wouldn't be able to start maintaining township properties until 8 am. Waste Management wouldn't start picking up trash until 8am, and our road department wouldn't be re paving until 8 am. This means no commercial services such as roofer's, landscapers, fence installers, carpenters and siding contractors can begin work until 8am. This means all of these services will have to increase their prices to pay for these crews that are sitting at the curb for an hour waiting to start work. Homeowners will pay for that lost hour.

I guess Hurricane Sandy didn't teach Lonni Miller-Ryan anything about homeowners and power tools. It's obvious that she doesn't take walks around our lakes and communities or she might have a different "respect" about the people who live here. She might realize that homeowners invest several hours a week maintaining their homes and yards in addition to working full-time jobs, attending various school and sporting functions w/ their children and such.
I can't tell you how many times I come home after a kids game and cut the grass or trim the hedges, but I can tell you- I'm not alone.
What is certain is that this councilwoman has to go.
