From a very early age, I knew I had to persue a career where I could help people. Throughout the years, I have always been surronded with makeup and a journal. Makeup was my form of "dress up' and writing was my form of escape.

Makeup inspires me to do so much, but I'll never forget my other passion to be a teacher. I am currently a English Secondary Education major at Monclair State University and plan on teaching highschool English and continuing to further enhance my makeup artistry skills.

I quickly learned how to apply makeup by expirementing on myself, friends and closley watching my momther and my sister. My mother, Marilyn and my sister, Renee helped me realize what makeup is truely all about- defining who you are as in individual.

Though I am new to blogging, this makeup blog will go beyond the sterotypical makup blogs of learning how to apply makeup. I want this blog to show people that makeup is not used to cover up flaws, rather help define what it means to be YOU. To be unique, is it to be beautiful and what better way to let makeup enhance that inner quality.
