Here is a look at some of the things we're working on this week for Wayne Patch: Cameras were installed at the intersection of Hamburg Turnpike and Black Oak Ridge Road more than a year ago. Burke has been trying for years to get the clean-energy device installed on the property, but the matter remains in the court system. The parties are due to appear in federal court again on April 18. We'll let you know what happens at the meeting on Monday. We'll let you know the particulars of each program. DeVincentis was diagnosed with the rare, chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease as a teenager but lives a very normal life now. The disease affects voluntary muscle movement. Here’s a sample of what we’re working on this week at Wayne Patch: The Board of Education will approve its budget for the 2012-2013 school year at a special public hearing at the municipal complex on Thursday, March 29. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. We will attend the meeting and let you know what happens. The average homeowner’s school taxes could increase $182, a 3.3 percent increase for the average homeowner. The district’s proposed tax levy is approximately $129.8 million. Of that $129.8 million, $117.2 million would fund employee salaries and benefits, a nearly 4 percent increase year to year.
