Middle Schooler Collecting Toys, Supplies for Sandy Victims

Anthony Couso, a student attending Schuyler-Colfax Middle School, is collecting toys, school supplies, and gift cards for Hurricane Sandy victims this holiday season. Couso is accepting donations of toys, school supplies, and gift cards. He will donate the items to Toys for Tots. Couso will make care packages once all the goods have been collected. They will be distributed to families in New York and New Jersey who were most affected by Hurricane Sandy. The following items are needed: Donations can be dropped off at Couso’s home at 226 Webster Drive until Tuesday, Dec. 20. Items should be left by the garage door.
