Montville's Joe Gorga and two other cast members accused of assaulting a man at the grand opening of a Ridgewood business on Saturday say they were the victims.
Three cast members of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, including Montville resident Joe Gorga, have filed counterclaims against a Paramus man who says he was beaten in a sink-throwing brawl Saturday night. Gorga, and Chris and Jacqueline Laurita each filed counterclaims Thursday at Ridgewood Police Headquarters alleging that Johnny Karagiorgis, 38, assaulted and threatened them Saturday at the grand opening of Kim DePaola's Posche 2 clothing boutique in Ridgewood. By the time the brawl was broken up by security, clothes were trampled, sinks were destroyed and blood stained the walls of 74 East Ridgewood Avenue. Police said one of the claims made against Karagiorgis includes terroristic threats, an indictable offense. A bloodied …

Hundreds of North Jersey shoppers got a jump on their Christmas shopping and raised money for charity at the same time. The nearly all-female crowd flooded The Brownstone in Paterson for Glitz, Glam and Gifts, The Sparkling Event’s annual holiday shopping event. Dozens of vendors showcased their best products. They included “Real Housewives of New Jersey” Kathy Wakile and Jacqueline Laurita and Ava’s Cupcakes, the winner of the Food Network’s “Cupcake Wars.” “It’s a fun night out and gives people a chance to have some fun, network a little, and showcase their business,” said Candice Laurita, co-owner of The Sparkling Event. “We’re moms and we all want a chance to help each other, and the community, out in some tangible way and this is a …

'Housewife' quells Internet rumors, tells magazine that Wakile, a Wayne resident, will return next season.
Kathy Wakile will return for fourth season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” according to cast mate Melissa Gorga. Gorga told “In Touch” magazine that Wakile will be back despite rumors to the contrary flying around the Internet last week, Examiner.com reported. In addition to those rumors, former ‘Housewife’ and Wayne resident Danielle Staub, a 50-year-old divorced mother of two, was rumored to be returning to the show. Staub has denied the rumor. Staub reportedly signed a contract to return to the show and will film “several episodes,” InTouchweeky.com reported recently. The website reportedly quoted a source close to the show who said that producers are bringing in Staub, who was a regular for the series’ first two seasons, …

Joe Gorga jokingly admits to being an exotic dancer in final reunion episode.
After five months, season four of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” ended Sunday night. The third and final part of the series’ reunion special aired. What a relief. The women continued to argue about their relationships with one another. The topic of who used to take her clothes off for money just wouldn’t die. Even the women’s husbands were dragged into the conversation when they were brought out. “What’s wrong with being a stripper?” Joe Gorga asked. And then the truth came out: “Joe, I heard you were a dancer of the Chippendales variety,” host Andy Cohen said. “Absolutely,” Gorga said, adding that he performed in a thong. In fact, everyone made it pretty clear it was the lying between castmates, and not the stripping, that they were …

Posche fashion show promises to bring drama with garb as 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' season finale approaches.
After four explosive months, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is winding down with the first part of its season finale having premiered on Sunday night. The owner of Posche boutique, in Wayne, and the infamous Kim G.’s sister-in-law, Kim D. has appeared in every season of “The Real Housewives.” Her annual Posche fashion show caused drama in 2009, when former housewife Danielle Staub was famously allegedly assaulted by Jacqueline Laurita’s daughter, Ashlee, and again in 2010, when Teresa Giudice and cousin Kathy Wakile got into a shouting match following the show. Most recently, Kim D. has been portrayed as a close friend of Towac resident Teresa Giudice’s, although the audience had not seen much of her since the beginning of this season…

The cast rehashes the drama of last episode.
This week’s “Real Housewives” picked up the drama from the pre-Labor Day-break episode, in which Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo had an explosive argument about the events of this and the previous season and featured the long-anticipated (and somewhat anticlimatic) return of Dina Manzo. First, however, the audience was treated to a nostalgic dose of cuteness as Teresa and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga got their kids off to school. It was Antonia Gorga and Gabriela Giudice’s first day of first grade, Gia Giudice’s first day of fifth grade, and Milania Giudice’s first day of kindergarten. Teresa was worried about “RHONJ” breakout star Milania’s first day, but not in the traditional sense. “I’m worried about what’s going to come out of …

Wakile feels left out of Giudice-Gorga mending.
Things heated up on this week’s episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” A big topic of conversation last week was between Jacqueline Laurita and Teresa Giudice and the state of their estranged friendship. Although they both agreed they were good again, the two seem to have different ideas about the end result of the conversation. Everyone seemed much more cheerful when they arrived at Levendi Wine on their RV trip. Unfortunately, the Lauritas and Manzos made the decision to take everyone on the tour of Levendi Wine, in spite of knowing how this crowd tends to get around wine. Namely, Joe Giudice made ridiculous comments about the wine and complained about wanting to go eat, while Joe Gorga made sexual comments the entire time. “I’m…
