Powerball Player Wins $10K from Wayne Store

One lucky Powerball winner purchased a ticket from the Super Mart in Wayne on Mountainview Boulevard, the New Jersey Lottery announced Thursday. In a press release about the third-prize winners, who walked away with $10,000 each, the lottery organization said one of the 29 winning third place tickets was sold at the Wayne store. The Powerball drawing, held Wednesday, had a record $550 million at stake. In addition to the third-prize winners, more than $2.7 million in prizes was given to more than 450,000 New jersey residents who played. The prizes ranged from $4 to $400.
