Frelinghuysen Running For Reelection In 11th District

Rodney Frelinghuysen announces he's running to represent the state's 11th Congressional District again, which Wayne will join in January.

Republican Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen has announced he is running to represent New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District again. Wayne is currently in the 8th Congressional District, which is represented by Democratic Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr. As part of a redistricting plan due to the results of the 2010 Census, Wayne will move to the 11th district beginning Jan. 1, 2013. According to the state Division of Elections, Frelinghuysen has received 1,255 petition signatures. His Democratic opponent, John Arvanites, has received 271 signatures.
