Man Charged with Attempted Murder Pleads Not Guilty

A Wayne man has plead not guilty to attempted murder in the shooting a Paterson resident on Nov. 15, NorthJersey.com reported. Brian Curry, 24, was arrested last week after the Vernon and Paterson police departments conducted a joint attempted murder and narcotics investigation. Curry, of Lake Drive East, was arraigned in state court on Wednesday on charges of illegally possessing a .38-caliber handgun and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, the website reported. He was being held at the Passaic County Jail on $750,000 bail Wednesday.
