Shomrei Torah's motto is, "Celebrating tradition, embracing the future." An affiliate of  the United Synagogue ofMore Conservative Judaism, the congregation upholds time-honored rituals and philosophies while maintaining a progressive outlook. Men and women contribute equally to congregational life, and interfaith families are welcome. Programs include youth groups, Hebrew school, and men's and women's clubs. Throughout the year, Shomrei Torah hosts parties for the congregation and entertaining events for the general public, such as comedy nights and fashion shows. Shomrei Torah does community outreach as part of the Wayne Interfaith Network, known for its food pantry, and the congregation's own "Mitzvah Corps" makes weekly visits to Emeritus of Wayne, provides transportation for homebound people and hosts dinners for homeless people.

This church has been serving the Wayne area for more than 60 years. It is a multi-ethnic, multi-generationalMore congregation that welcomes visitors and gives children an encouraging environment in which to grow. It provides space for the Wayne Interfaith Food Network (WIN), a cooperative effort of local churches and synagogues, and has several other community outreach programs.

Packanack Community Church's activities, ministries and worship services emphasize the importance of music and the arts. Members can take part in the chancel choir, children's choir, two hand bell ensembles, a summer musical theater production, a children's theater production, a children's summer theater camp and a
music time class for toddlers.
