Another situation mishandled by the BOE. What would it have cost to announce this person's credentials along with her appointment? I guess their over-priced PR firm was on another vacation. Furthermore, why is her name misspelled in a news article? Did it come misspelled from our illustrious BOE?   more ›

WE should stop letting ANY pro player get just a slap on the wrist for doing anything illegal. They should be treated just like the rest of us! ALL teams should reserve the right to rescind their contracts that are worth millions to the players! We are way toooo forgiving - just like Mike Vick! He was just sorry he got caught abusing dogs. I feel he NEVER should have been picked up by another …   more ›

Companies certainly have that capability. I cannot say whether they are using it. But thanks for raising the issue. That's my very point. No matter what you hear (or don't hear) on your end of the phone, it is a duplex -- not simplex -- system. So everything said on the consumer's end, at all times during a telephone-switched connection, is capable of being recorded by a company. Of course, as …   more ›

The estimated taxes are way too low. The top Federal rate is 39.6%. Also, for those of us living in NJ, you must also pay State taxes. While State taxes would be deducted from Federal taxes owed, the total amount of taxes owed (State and Federal) would be around 47% or $177 million not $94.2 million. If you live or work in NYC and bought your ticket there, it would be even higher.   more ›

The parties agreed to the terms of the order last year. The DEP may pursue "stipulated penalties" against the parties as a result of failing to comply with the order. The DEP is concerned that contaminated sediment on the site has migrated to the …
