Town Center Application, Breast Cancer Fundraiser Take Center Stage

Here is a look at a few things that are going on in Wayne this week.

• The Board of Adjustment will discuss an application to construct a new Wayne Town Center on the old site.

Testimony is expected to be heard on the application. It is not know whether the board will vote on the application or wait until a later meeting.

• The annual Stick It to Breast Cancer charity field hockey game will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15. Proceeds from admission fees and the sale of items will be donated to the St. Joseph’s Wayne Hospital Foundation.

• The town council will meet Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m.

• The Board of Education will meet Wednesday at the municipal complex beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
