Passaic County's Most Dangerous Roads

There were 24 pedestrians killed in the county during a recent three-year period, report says.

There were 24 pedestrian fatalities in Passaic County during a recent three-year period, according to a report released by the  Tri-State Transportation Campaign.

The report showed a steady increase in deaths each year with five in 2009, eight in 2010 and 11 in 2011.

All of the fatalities occurred in the southern portion of the county. Two pedestrians were killed on each Route 504, Route 614/Van Houten Avenue, Route 602 and Route 647.
