Wayne Firefighters Earn Second Place at Grilling Competition
Money raised from the event will be donated to charity.
The Wayne Volunteer Fire Department came in second place in the Fairway Firefighters Food Face-Off this weekend.
The smells of barbecue filled the air as firefighters from five other Passaic County fire departments went head to head in a culinary show down.
The Wayne department received a $100 Fairway Market giftcard for finishing second.

The event also raised money for charity. Money taken in from $2 cover charges will be donated to the Woodland Park Centennial Foundation.
