Eric Van Assen blasted a two-run homerun for second-seeded Wayne Valley and Dan Wronka added an RBI double in the Indians’ 7-3 loss to Pompton Lakes in county tournament, Jersey Sports Now reported.
Although eliminated in the county tournament, the Indians remain alive in the state tournament. Wayne Valley will play in the group sectional semifinals on Tuesday.
