The following was submitted to Patch by the Boys & Girls Club of Wayne.
The Boys & Girls Club of Wayne is now accepting Field Hockey registrations for summer/fall 2014. Season will run from August through October.
All participants must provide their own stick and mouth piece and wear shin guards. The Field Hockey program is open to girls who will be in grades 6-8 as of September 2014.
Practice sessions will be run clinic style and will consist of skill development, various drills, techniques and game play. This is a traveling program and we will be playing other towns during the season.
The registration fee is $100 and the deadline is June 7, 2014. Registrations are available at the club and online at www.bgcnwnj.org.
