For the second year in a row Wayne emerges from Battlelax victorious!
The Wayne PAL Boys 3rd and 4th Grade teams took home Championship Medals in the 2014 Riverdell Battlelax Tournament on Saturday May 10.
Wayne 3rd grade was first up, besting Sparta, Lakeland, and Northern Highlands. They tied Franklin Lakes only to meet them again in the Championship game. Wayne beat Franklin Lakes to take home the Championship.

Wayne 4th grade would meet Paramus in the finals after beating Riverdell, Mahwah and Highlands. Wayne 4th entered the Championship after 2 rain delays only to have the game and overtime end in an exciting 2-2 tie. Riverdell organizers and the Paramus team requested Co-Champions in lieu of Braveheart and the boys all received gold medals.
