Star QB Olsen, Father Attend South Carolina Practice

Quarterback is one of the most sought-after recruits in the country.

Kevin Olsen and his father and coach Chris made an unofficial visit to watch the University of South Carolina football team's final spring practice on Thursday, GoUpState.com is reporting.

The Olsens reportedly met with head coach Steve Spurrier. 

Chris Olsen said that the visit went extremely well.

In addition to South Carolina, the sought-after recruit has shown an interest in Auburn, the University of Miami, and possibly Michigan State

Kevin's older brother Greg played for the University of Miami. He plays tight end for the NFL's Carolina Panthers.

The younger Olsen, a junior, is ranked number 37 on MaxPreps.com's list of national high school football recruits. 

Olsen is also on ESPN's list of the top 150 national high school prospects for the class of 2013. 

Olsen also told ESPN that he enjoys playing for his father, an eight-time state championship winning coach, and hopes to win another state championship next year when he returns to the field.

Olsen surprised people earlier this year when he  if his father doesn't coach the team.

The older Olsen is athletic director of Wayne Hills High School. The board  that prohibits administrators and supervisors from coaching sports teams or acting as advisors to any athletic or extra-curricular program.
