Greg Olsen, the older brother of Wayne Hills quarterback Kevin Olsen, was named to USA Today's All-Joe team earlier this week.
The team honors those NFL players who have been deemed hard workers and who don't regularly get media coverage for their work ethics.
Olsen plays tight end for the NFL's Carolina Panthers.
Originally drafted by the Chicago Bears, Olsen posted a career best 69 receptions and 843 yards this past season.
But his greatest challenge came off the field this year.
Olsen's unborn son T.J. was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect and had to undergo surgery only days after being born. Olsen brought T.J. home in November.
