May 6th- 6pm at Shomrei Torah. Dinner will be provided! Come out for an evening of competitive games! CAPTURE THE FLAG AND OTHER FUN GAMES!  5Th GRADERS ARE WELCOME TO COME TO THIS EVENT AS WELL!

May 18th-20th Regional Event- Spring Convention is May 18-20th at the Holiday Inn in Somerset. It’s going to be a great weekend with a special program for the 8th graders.

June 10th - (Time and Place TBD) End of the year party! (more information to follow)

Kadima is for 6th, 7th & 8th graders.

Kadima, which is the Hebrew word for “forward,” has chapters and regions throughout the world. Shomrei Torah belongs to the Northern New Jersey Hagalil Region which
has some forty-eight chapters.  Local activities include sports and games, arts and crafts, bowling, leadership
activities, community service projects, fun ways to celebrate Jewish holidays, and much more.  Add to that regional conventions, dances, and athletics and just
about every other kind of social, educational, charitable, cultural, artistic, and religious activity imaginable.  The
goal is to inspire Jewish youth to explore, celebrate and practice ethical alues, Jewish life, and community responsibility.
