Annual Hills-Valley Game To Be Broadcast Online Live

Rivalry game will be shown on MSG Varsity's website beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday.

The annual Wayne Hills-Wayne Valley football game will be broadcast live on the MSG Varsity website beginning Friday at 7 p.m.

The game will also be broadcast on MSG Varsity on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 9 p.m.

Both teams are 1-0. Valley won its season opener against West Milford 24-12. Hills dismantled Northern Highlands 56-7.

Kevin Olsen, star quarterback, will not play in the game. He in his right foot in the Northern Highlands game. He could miss between six and eight weeks.

The win propelled Valley up 19 places in the No. 117 team in the state and 341 places to No. 4,700 in the country in Maxpreps.com’s rankings.  The are ranked No. 5 in the state’s North 1 Group 4 Division.

Hills’ win moved the Patriots up 13 spots to No. 256 in the country, up one spot in the state rankings to No. 5, and remains No. 1 in the North 1 Group 4 Division.
