William Paterson University is without power.

Stephen Bolyai, vice president for administration and finance, issued an update on Hurricane Sandy’s impact on the school’s website.

“The University is awaiting an estimate from PSE&G regarding the restoration of power to the campus,” the update states.

Emergency announcements, including updates on the status of classes and other activities will continue to be posed on the university’s website and on the school’s emergency phone mailbox at 973-720-2475.

Messages will also be posted to the University’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

The school will provide updates when new information is available.
