William Paterson Students Receive Financial Planning Award

Students received $2,000 for an essay and oral argument they presented during national financial planning competition.

Linda Hoxha and Ania Lamparska, students at William Paterson University, have placed third in a national financial planning competition.

Hoxha and Lamparska’s team was one of three William Paterson teams selected as finalists in the 2013 Financial Service Professionals National Service Industry Issues Competition in Arizona.

The team had to make an oral presentation before a panel of judges regarding what the best practices are in identifying and evaluating specific career in the financial services field. They also wrote a paper on the subject.
