William Paterson Hosts Job Fair Thursday
Thirty employers expected to have representatives at bi-annual fair.
A job fair with potentially 30 regional companies could have representatives at a regional job fair at William Paterson University on Thursday.
The fair will be held at 1600 Valley Road from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Snow date is Friday).
Valley National Bank, St. Joseph’s Healthcare System, Prudential, Allstate, the New York State Police, and companies from the financial, transportation, and manufacturing sectors will attend the fair.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring at least 20 resumes and wear interview-appropriate attire. A list of attending companies can be viewed here and will be updated throughout the week.
Four free workshops will be offered: “Using Social Media in Your Job Search,” “How to Apply for Government Jobs,” “Resume Writing and Resume Critiquing,” and “Presentation Skills for the Job Market.”

The university has hosted the bi-annual fair for three years; hundreds of people attended the one held in August.
