Students Release Butterflies Into the Wild

Youngsters watch caterpillars spin cocoons and transform into butterflies.

Students at Albert Payson Terhune Elementary School recently released butterflies into the wild.

Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students watched the insects turn start out as caterpillars, encase themselves in cocoons, and emerge as butterflies.
