School District Gets Extended Memorial Day Vacation
Three unused emergency snow days added to the calendar.
Three unused emergency snow days will be added to the school district’s calendar. The district did not use the days due to the mild winter the area experienced in 2011 and 2012.
As long as the district does not need to use the days for some other type of emergency, public schools in Wayne will not be in session Thursday, May 24, Friday, May 25, and Tuesday, May 29.
Schools were already scheduled to be closed on Memorial Day, May 28.
