Relay for Life Team Selling Bracelets this Week

Team from Wayne Valley High School will be selling bracelets during lunch periods.

Kevin Hughes’ Relay for Life team, Keep Calm and Cure On 2013, is selling bracelets this week at Wayne Valley High School.

Proceeds from the sale will go the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life is an annual student-run event that raises money for ACS. The all-night fundraiser held at Wayne Valley. Hundreds of participants walk the track at the school in memory of those who have been killed by cancer and for those who continue to battle the disease.

The bracelets will be sold during the three lunch periods through Thursday; they cost $3 each. Lunch is held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:44 p.m. Schools are closed for Good Friday.
