April is National Car Care Month.

Steve Hopper and the students enrolled in the distirct's automotive repair coursees at Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills high schools are considering offering a charity vehicle repair service clinics on Saturdays in April; April is National Car Care Month.

Students would examine residents' vehicles for free and offer possible solutions. Representatives from local automotive repair shops might be at the clinics. Hopper said he might also reach out to the Wayne Police and Volunteer Fire departments to see if they could have some kind of displays about automotive safety.

The inter-high school repair course won $10,000 in cash and supplies in the Why My High School Auto Shop Needs a Make-Over national video contest.
