Wayne police officers helped local students celebrate National Career and Technical Education Month recently.

Chief John Reardon and Capt. Laurence Martin went to Passaic County Technical Institute earlier this month in recognition of the education initiative.

Culinary Arts students baked pastries. Cosmetology students gave senior citizens a day of pampering. Students studying healthcare provided free health screenings to staff members and students.
