The Board of Education hired a new principal of Theunis Dey Elementary School.
Nicole Fabris was hired at the board’s meeting Thursday.
Fabris will earn a pro rated salary of $119,827; her salary will be updated pending the completion of negotiations. She has a master's degree from Montclair State University.

Fabris replaces Laura Russomano effective July 25.
Wayne Valley Principal Robert Reis will retire after 17 years at the school on Aug. 1.

Pamela Longo and Kenneth Kaplan, principals of Pines Lake and Randall Carter elementary schools will also retire in August.
