High School Students Nominated For Broadcast Work

Annual V Awards recognize excellence in student-produced media.

Several Wayne students specializing in broadcast media have been nominated for V Awards.

The annual competition recognizes excellence in student media production. It is designed to foster the next generation of broadcast professionals.

The following students, programs, and submissions were nominated this year:

Wayne Hills vs. Hackensack Football, Wayne Hills High School

Play-by-Play/Color Commentator

Alex Green, Wayne Hills vs. Paramus Football

Several students from Hills and Valley . Mordkoff and Green received an award for Best Full Game Production for their broadcast of a Wayne Hills football game.

MSG Varsity received more than 2,100 entries from high schools throughout the tri-state area.

Winners will be announced on a special V Awards show on MSG Varsity at noon on May 31. MSG Varsity is on channel 14 on Cablevision's iO television.
