High School Students Collect Coats for Abused Women

DePaul Catholic Spanish Club give coats to Shelter Our Sisters.

The Spanish Club at DePaul Catholic High School collected 150 coats for abused women and their children in November.

The club donated the coats to Shelter Our Sisters, a New Jersey non-profit that assists women who are domestic violence victims and their children.

“The response to the outreach was overwhelming,” said Stacy Gottesman, the club’s faculty advisor. “Both the DePaul Catholic community and the Wayne community at large really stepped up and came through. We want to thank you for their blessed acts during the holiday season.”
