Fifth-Graders Inducted into Safety Program at A.P. Terhune

Group makes sure younger students enter the building safely.

Fifth grade students at Albert Payson Terhune School were inducted into the school’s fall Safety Patrol program Sept. 23.

Students are not required to participate in the program, joining in voluntary. Students arrive before school starts and walk younger children into the school. They also help bring the afternoon kindergarten students into the building.

Students recited an oath at the induction ceremony. They promised to uphold the Safety Patrol bylaws.
