Board of Education Meeting Rescheduled for Aug. 29

Important personnel moves, hirings scheduled to be made.

Several key personnel moves for the upcoming school year will be made at a Board of Education meeting Thursday.

The moves were originally to be made at a meeting last week but the meeting was cancelled.

Assistant principals at Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley high schools will be hired. Michael Rewick is scheduled to become an assistant principal at Wayne Hills High School. He is currently an assistant principal at Valley.

Michael Ben-David, principal of Anthony Wayne Middle School, will become the district director of secondary education. He will replace Cathy Labate.

The meeting will be held in the Wayne municipal building on Valley Road beginning at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will also be broadcast on cable channel 77 and online.
