Willowbrook Benefit Concert
Saturday, December 10, noon to closing
Wayne VOAD is in the process of organizing a benefit concert to be held at the Willowbrook Mall on Saturday, December 10, from noon to closing in the public area in front of the Sears store. The concert is entitled "The Wayne VOAD Volunteer Recognition Celebration." As part of the concert, members of the public will have the opportunity to show their support by donating to Wayne VOAD. A minimum donation will entitle them to decorate an ornament to be hung on the "Volunteers Christmas Tree." This is our way of saying "Thank you" to all the VOAD volunteers while raising funds to help families-in-need.
We are currently looking for musical groups, choirs, bands, entertainers or performers that might be interested in donating their performance to help raise funds for WayneVOAD.
We are also looking for volunteers who would be willing to help organize the event, as well as people who can lend us amplification equipment, risers, a portable stage, microphones and stands, and any other equipment that might help make this event successful.
