We are also looking for volunteers who can work in 2-hour shifts, especially adults who can help us break down the entertainment area after the mall closing that night. In addition, we're looking for someone who can lend us the use of a projection screen for the day.

As part of the concert, attendees will also have an opportunity to support the efforts of Wayne VOAD, which is a non-profit organization. Wayne VOAD will have a Volunteers Recognition Tree. For a donation of $5, you can decorate and personalize a holiday ornament, which will be hung on the tree to honor our volunteers.

During the concert, we will also take up a collection for the Voit children, whose Wayne home was flooded, whose father passed away this past spring, and whose mother passed away very tragically last weekend. There are 3 surviving children aged 16, 13 and 3. If you would like to make a donation by check, please make it payable to the Wayne Valley Football Booster Club (WVFBC) and write "Voit Family" on the memo line. Gift cards to help the family would also be appreciated.

Checks can be given to a Wayne VOAD representative at the mall or mailed c/o Cindi Eckrote, 44 Overlook Avenue, Wayne, NJ 07470. In addition, please support the Poinsettia Fundraiser being held at Wayne Valley High School this Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.

Thank you to the following organizations who have helped with the concert:

The WHHS National Honor Society for providing student volunteers,

The GAP Store in Willowbrook Mall for providing volunteers,

The Wayne PAL for lending the use of a van to pick up and deliver the stage,

Simply Acoustic for lending the use of their sound system and making a donation toward the cost of the stage.

Wayne VOAD is an organization of volunteers who simply want to help our neighbors-in-need. We provide for the humanitarian needs of residents affected by disaster - food, clothing, shelter and moral support. We work in close partnership with Wayne township officials and other volunteer organizations to effectively support relief and recovery efforts.
