The program allows each youngster to become sensitive to the need for safety in the home, the community, and school.

Teachers, assisted by teenage volunteers will instruct the children over a one week period.  Each day the children have an opportunity to travel through a model town which includes buildings, streets, and traffic signals; along the way they participate in fun activities related to safety.  Prior to graduation, each student will meet a policeman, fireman, and go on a school bus. (Please note that it is requested that parents remain present at the location during the event.)
