WPL YA Chess Club

Young adults in grades 6-12 are welcome to play chess. You can learn or improve your skills.

This gathering will occur every other month.

Registration in person or by phone.  Wayne residents get preference for sign-up availability.

For Saturday February 9th session, sign-up beginning Friday February 1st.

CANDY Guessing Contest: Sweets for T(w)eens!

Closest guess to the actual number of sweets, gets the whole bunch. Share with your sweetie or anyone close to your heart. Aww….

Contest starts: Monday Feb 4th – Thursday Feb 14th. Winner will be notified on Feb 15th.

For WAYNE kids in grades 6-12 only.  Stop by the Children’s desk to look at the prize and make your guess.

A middle-aged father finds his life is not exactly what he expected. He is separated from his family and his career at a pharmaceutical company is at a stand still. Manga & Anime Club for YAs (No SCHOOL TODAY)

Young adults in grade 6-12 can gather informally to talk about manga & anime.

Bring in ONE of your favorite novels and be prepped to say WHY it is.

Share ideas and pick up recommendations from fellow tweens & teens.

Smoothie Making for YAs: Rethink Your Drink

Students will learn how much added sugar is in common beverages, identify healthier choices, and then have the chance to make and sample nutritious fruit smoothies!

Presented by Little Falls ShopRite store dietitian Laura Becker, MS, RD.

Teen Advisory Group Monthly Meeting (T.A.G.)

Event Date: 2/21/2013
Event Time: 6:30-7:30 PM

Open to Wayne Young Adults grades 6-12 who are interested in having a voice here at their library. Get together to help with different library needs and have input too!
