(Wayne, NJ) – The Wayne Health Department urges residents to get their flu shot. It is not too late to get vaccinated. The health department is offering a seasonal flu vaccination clinic for anyone who is older than 6 months old on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 3 to 6 p.m. The clinics will take place at the Wayne Health Department, 475 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ. The flu vaccine is $15. If you have Medicare Part B not enrolled in an HMO, the vaccine is free. In addition, pneumonia shots will be provided. The pneumonia shot is $25 or free to Medicare Part B participants receiving the vaccination for the first time with Medicare. Medicare will only pay for ONE shot in a lifetime. Medical Part B participants must bring their card to receive the vaccine free of charge. Please visit www.waynetownship.com to make an appointment.
