School Supplies Needed ASAP!!

Just got this email from Lonni.  Please take a moment to help these children that will be starting school on Tuesday and are in need of school supplies.  Thank you, Ruby

Mary Beth Dring is coordinating this massive effort to put together over 200 back-packs for our students in time for Tuesday. So many have been generous, but we need more. Here's the List:

k-5 grades: -- composition notebooks (the ones without spirals);

--erasable pens;

-- red pends;

-- pencils

-- folders;

-- 24-box of crayons;

-- small package of thin markers;

-- small package of thick markers;

-- manual pencil sharpeners;

-- colored pencils;

-- glue stickers;

--highlighters;

-- books they can read (novels for 4th and 5th graders);

-- scissors;

-- 3x5 cards;

-- large book socks;

-- rulers;

-- post-it notes; and

-- BACKPACKS!

We're compiling a list and numbers for the middle and high schools, so stay tuned or if you know what they need, post it on Wayne VOAD on facebook or email Lonni Miller Ryan directly: lonnimiller@aol.com

Drop off the goods at the Civic Center -- 1006 Hamburg Tpke the old Preakness School.
