Please Support us in Showtime's Walk of Shameless Competition for Childhood Cancer Society

Hi Everyone,  I got this email from Tommy Head and Scott Rumana and hope you will help Tommy with his chance to win over 20,000.00 for kids with cancer.  Please read his email below. Thank you!

Hey Scott and Ruby, thanks for offering to help us out.

Seven years ago I founded Childhood Cancer Society (CCS) a 501 (c) 3 non profit dedicated to helping families struggling with childhood cancer. We are a 100% volunteer organization meaning no salaries are paid and all funds are either donated to patients or used to precipitate more funding. CCS has been selected to compete in the Showtime Walk of Shameless to raise money for our charity.

We have the chance to win over $20,000 for kids with cancer by competing in a 5 day endurance competition in which we will take turns walking on a treadmill for 12 straight hours over the course of 5 days. After 5 days, if multiple teams are left standing, the team with the most votes via twitter/text message will win. That's where we need your help. If you could ask readers from the Wayne Patch, Wayne People list, friends, as well as family to support us on twitter by tweeting:

Voting is done in two ways:

1.You can text Ian to 74688

2. You can tweet #teamian You can vote once per day between 8am and 8pm, everyday through Sunday night (the 22nd). Each text and tweet count as independent votes, so doing both is extremely helpful. Therefore your encouragement to do both, would be a huge help!
