Neighbors and Our Friends Lost Everything in Fire

Hi Everyone, 

As many of you know, last night the Schweighardt family lost their home in a fire. Carol and Chris are very good friends and are always there for our community when needed.  They have a daughter in College at Montclair State and another daughter in 11th grade at Wayne Valley High School.  Carol is a teacher at George Washington Middle School. Thankfully everyone is safe and staying with family. The fire destroyed every room in their house including all of their belongings and all Christmas gifts.

So many of you have been calling to ask what you can do to help. It is wonderful to see the people of Wayne once again coming together to offer support to a family in need. Right now they need the most basic necessities, clothing, toiletries, etc. If you would like to contribute the best thing at this time is a monetary donation, gift cards to places like Target, Harmon, Kohls, Staples, etc.
