Girl Scout Collecting Instruments for School in Uganda
A Girl Scout is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award.
The following is a letter from Vanessa Stanfield regarding her Girl Scout Gold Award.
My name is Vanessa Stanfield and I am a junior at Wayne Valley High School. I am currently in the process of earning my Girl Scout Gold Award, and I believe that the community can help.
I am collecting donated instruments to give to a school in Uganda. Our goal is to start a school band. Not only will this give the students the joy of playing in a band, but it will also help them become financially independent. With their band they can earn money by playing for weddings and other ceremonies.

If anyone has any used instruments that are no longer being used, it would be gratefully appreciated if donated to my cause. I can personally pick them up. Please contact me at VanessaCStanfield@yahoo.com or 973-696-7022.
I am also holding a clothing drive in June. If anyone has clothing that is no longer being worn please drop it off to 67 Beechwood Drive or contact me to pick it up. Any donation would be appreciated. Thank you!
