Hi,

Find out what's happening in Waynewith free, real-time updates from Patch.

My name is Jackie Cohen. I am a currently a junior and attend Wayne Hills High School. I am creating a 5k in support of Special Olympics Passaic County for my Girl Scout Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest achievement one can receive and takes a lot of hard work and planning. The Special Olympics is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization that provides sports training and athletic competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The proceeds generated from the race will go directly towards the athletes of Special Olympics New Jersey of Passaic County. The revenue will be spent on their equipment, uniforms, housing and training costs.

The event will be held on Sunday, June 3rd at A.P. Terhune here in Wayne! To read more information visit my website at www.jackiecohenrun4sonj.moonfruit.com . On the website you can register for the race and send donations online! Or if you want to register by mail see the attachment to this email!

I would love to see you at the race!

Thanks for the support,

Jackie Cohen
