In every situation, in print ("An Open Book!") or on video, Ms. Kazan uses the opportunity to stress 'community forums' and 'spreading out the conversation', 'bringing in the stakeholders' to discuss big issues that affect our District. She refuses, however, to discuss *any* of the topics in *any* community forum where the stakeholders participate.
She has said in her video, 'the Wayne school system has succeeded in reaching out to the parents via technology', and she's correct in her assessment. The Board of Education has used these tools to engage with its community because that is where the stakeholders are. She has not, however, utilized *any* of the technology she touts as 'successful' to reach out to you, the public.

Ms. Kazan would rather you call her in private to discuss issues one on one, not publicly. She has also directed people to her Facebook for answers to questions, but there's zero answers to be found on *any* topic. There's no pictures of our community, there's no touting the accomplishments of our students, and there is zero discourse about our schools.
Her supporters will have you believe that Ms. Kazan is the right choice for the 'sake of the children'. You would be hard-pressed, however, to find *any* student pictures or accomplishments that deserve recognition from Ms. Kazan. In her video 'The Challengers', which was a Q&A forum that lasted over 90 minutes, Ms. Kazan in the entire length of the forum mentions the word 'students' once. Once.
