Readers' Choice: Favorite Frozen Yogurt Shop

Where do you like to go for this delicious, but heathy, summertime treat?

Although its technically not summer yet, the temperature outside seems to suggest otherwise. People are already saying they are tired of the heat.

But, whether the summer is officials here are not, the heat does allow for people to indulge in some refreshing, cool treats. Frozen yougurt seems to be a popular choice and there are a few local places to get your fill of the summer treat.

We're asking people for this week's Readers' Choice poll: What is your favorite place in town to get some frozen yogurt?

Red Mango is a self-service business. Patrons choose their container and flavored frozen yogurt. There are also dozens of toppings to choose from: everything from fruit to kids' cereals can be piled on for a truly one-of-a-kind treat.

Although it is not located in Wayne, the line for Curly's ice cream stand can go more than a dozen people deep on summer weeknights and even longer on the weekends.

FrozenPeaks also offers customers dozens of toppings to choose from.

Carvel and Maggie Moo's offer customers a more traditional ice cream shop experience.

Here are the businesses we've selected for this week's poll.

Curly's (on Route 23 North)

The poll will be open until 9 a.m. on Friday. Remember, a businesses' rating also plays a part in who is crowned a winner. Businesses receive a certain number of points based on how many stars their listing has. Read the attached rules for more information.

Curly's is included - also not in Wayne?

Curly's is close enough to Wayne to be included. It is literally right up the road from Wayne. I go there a few times in the summer and I'm sure I'm not the only one from Wayne who does.

Curly's kicks butt over Kilwins or any other ice cream parlor in the area. Went last weekend and plenty of people there from Wayne waiting 40 minutes for a cone. McCobb's seems to be a well-kept secret. They have a great ice cream counter and perhaps the nicest place to sit and enjoy! Terrible location to get in and out of but otherwise I love that place!

Carvel on Valley Road has outrageous prices. I love Carvel, but the prices on the Valley Road store are higher then all the other Carvel's in the area. Why? As far as yogurt goes I think Red Mango is excellent. Staff is very freindly and customer service is number 1. They are very polite and the yogurt very enjoyable. Healthy also.
