Wayne Health Department Running Zumba Classes for Kids

Classes begin next month, but registration is open now.

The following was submitted to Patch by the Wayne Health Department. 

The Wayne Health Department and Chilton Medical Center are pleased to offer two new Zumba programs for kids!  Zumba Kids and Zumba Kids Jr are the ultimate dance-fitness programs for young Zumba fans.

Zumba Kids is geared to children 7 to 11 years of age. It features age-appropriate music and moves that get kids exercising to the beat.  Classes will be held from 4:00 to 4:45, on May 6, 13, 27, June 3, 10 and 24, in Room #2 of the Wayne Health Department. The fee is $25.

Zumba Kids Jr is for children 4 to 6 year old. Here they can socialize, move to age-appropriate music and play games with other kids. Classes will be held in Room #2 of the Wayne Health Department from 3:45pm to 4:30pm, on May 7, 14, 21, 28, June 4 and 11. The fee is $25.
