Polls open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Wayne residents will go to the polls today to vote on which party will control the Town Council for the next four years.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Residents must vote in their respective ward and district. Residents may check what ward and district their street address is located in on the second sheet of the above map.

The candidates in this year’s election are:

1st Ward: Democrat Gary Marchese Sr. and Republican incumbent Alan Purcell.

2nd Ward: Democrat Ray Egatz and Republican incumbent Al Sadowski.

3rd Ward: Democrat Matthew Giordano and Republican Franco Mazzei.

4th Ward: Democrat Mickey Bradley and Republican incumbent Joseph Scuralli.

5th Ward: Democrat Chris McIntyre. There is no Republican candidate for this ward.

6th Ward: Democrat Sam Mirza and Republican incumbent Nadine Bello.

At-Large, two-year unexpired term: Democrat Suzane Pudup and Republican incumbent James Jimenez.
